Dimidiation

Dimidiation is when two things are cut perfectly in half and then put together to make one complete thing. Think of it like when you cut a sandwich in half and then put the two halves back together to make one whole sandwich again. But in dimidiation, both sides are important because they were originally part of two different things. It's like if you had two different puzzles and you cut the pictures in half and then put them back together to make one new puzzle. Dimidiation is a fancy word for this process.
