Diocesan priest

Okay kiddo, so a diocesan priest is a man who works for a church and helps people in a specific area called a diocese. A diocese is like a big area that includes lots of smaller places like towns and cities where people live. The priest's job is to help the people in his diocese by praying with them, teaching them about God and the church, and also doing nice things like helping the poor or sick people.

The diocesan priest also has certain religious duties like saying mass, which is when people gather at church to listen to stories from the bible and pray together. He can also perform sacraments like baptism, where a person gets blessed with holy water to become part of the church.

To become a diocesan priest, a man has to go through a lot of training and education to learn about the church and the bible, similar to how you're learning in school. Once he finishes his training, he can start working in a diocese and become a priest there.

Overall, a diocesan priest is like a helper for people in a certain area, and he works for the church to help people learn about God and live good lives.
