ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Direct Action Everywhere

Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a group of people who want to stop animal cruelty. They believe that animals have feelings just like people do and should be treated with kindness and respect. They do things like protesting outside of stores and restaurants that sell meat, eggs, or dairy products, and even inside of them sometimes. They try to show people why it's important to care about animals and to stop using them for food or clothing.

DxE uses peaceful methods to get their message across, like holding signs or chanting slogans. They want to make people think about where their food comes from and encourage them to choose plant-based options. Some people might not agree with DxE's methods or beliefs, but they do it because they care about animals and want to make a difference.
