ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Direct-to-consumer

Direct-to-consumer (DTC) is when companies sell products and services directly to customers without using any stores, wholesalers, or other middlemen. It can be done online, like on a website, or even in person, like a company selling its product at a special event. With DTC, companies can keep price low, reach customers anywhere in the world, and get feedback from customers directly.
