Disability in the media

Disability in the media refers to how people with disabilities are portrayed in TV shows, movies, and other forms of entertainment. It can be good when characters with disabilities are shown doing brave and amazing things, but can be bad when disabled people are portrayed in a negative or derogatory way. It is important that people with disabilities are shown as complex characters with diverse abilities, talents, and lifestyles. This increases awareness and understanding of people with disabilities in our society, and shows that everyone deserves respect and equal treatment.
