Dispensationalism

Dispensationalism is a way of looking at the Bible and understanding how God works with the world and with people over time. It divides time into different 'periods' or 'dispensations' and sees God having different plans and expectations for each period. Each dispensation has different rules and God calls people to live by them. For example, in the Old Testament, God asked people to follow certain laws and give sacrifices as part of worship, but in the New Testament, Jesus changed these rules, calling for people to love God and love their neighbours instead.
