Divine Service (Lutheran)

Divine service is when people who believe in God come together to worship Him. In Lutheran churches, divine service happens in a special room called a sanctuary. During divine service, there are different parts, like singing hymns, reading from a special book called the Bible, and listening to a person called a pastor give a message about a certain Bible story or idea. People also pray together and take part in something called communion, which is when they eat a piece of bread and drink grape juice to remember Jesus, who they believe was the son of God. Divine service is an important way for Lutheran people to show their love and faith in God.
