ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Donna Haraway

Donna Haraway is a person who is very good at asking questions and thinking about how different things are related to each other. She is particularly interested in how humans and technology are connected and can work together.

One of the things that Haraway is known for is her idea of the "cyborg." This is a fancy word she uses to describe a person or animal that has both biological parts (like a human body) and technological parts (like a computer chip or a machine). In Haraway's view, we are all cyborgs in some way or another, because we use technology all the time to help us do things.

Another important idea that Haraway talks about is something called "intersectionality." This is another big word that means the ways that different parts of our identities (like our race, gender, and class) are all connected and influence each other. In other words, you can't really understand one part of who someone is without also thinking about their other identities and experiences.

Overall, Haraway is a smart person who asks big questions and tries to understand how the world works. She thinks a lot about how technology and society are connected, and how we can use technology to make the world a better place for everyone.
