Drillship

A drillship is a type of ship that has special equipment to drill or explore underneath the ocean. It is like a regular ship that floats on the water, but it has a large, long pipe called a drill string coming out of the back. The drill string goes all the way down to the seafloor, and the ship uses special tools to drill and explore below the ocean surface. They are used to look for oil and gas, and to explore the ocean for science.
