Drone attacks in Yemen
Okay, kiddo. So, you know how some adult people use small flying robots called drones to take cool pictures and videos from the sky? Well, unfortunately, some other adult people in Yemen use those drones to attack other adult people who they think are bad guys.
Now, imagine you're playing a game of hide-and-seek with your friends, but instead of running around outside, you're all hiding in different houses. Suddenly, a big, loud robot comes flying through the window and shoots water guns at you and your friends, hurting some of you. That's what a drone attack feels like.
These attacks happen in Yemen because there are grown-up people there who belong to groups that do bad things, like hurt other grown-up people and cause problems. Some other grown-up people who have drones think that these bad guys need to be stopped, so they use the drones to attack them.
But sometimes, innocent grown-up people get hurt in these drone attacks, too. That's why some people think they're not such a good idea. They want everybody to be safe and happy, but they know it's complicated because the bad guys need to be stopped too.
