Okay kiddo, let's talk about ecommerce.

You know how when you go to the store with your mom or dad, you can pick out things you want to buy and then you bring them to the cashier and pay for them? Well, ecommerce is kind of like shopping at the store, but you do it on the computer instead of in person.

There are special websites called ecommerce websites where you can look at pictures of things you might want to buy, like clothes or toys or books or even food. You can pick out what you want to buy and then pay for it right there on the website.

Once you pay for your stuff, the people who run the ecommerce website will put your things in a box and ship them to you so you can have them at your house.

Ecommerce is really neat because you can buy things from all over the world without ever leaving your house! Plus, it's really convenient because you can shop at any time of day or night, even if the store is closed.
