EPassport gates

Hello there! So, have you ever gone on a trip with your mommy or daddy and had to go through a long line to get your passport checked? Well, that's because governments want to make sure that only the right people are entering and leaving their country.

But now, some countries have come up with a clever way to make this process faster and easier. They created something called "epassport gates".

An epassport is a special type of passport that has a chip inside it. This chip has all of your important information, like your name, birthday, and passport number.

When you get to an epassport gate, you'll see a big machine that looks a bit like a giant ATM. You'll need to scan your passport at the machine, which will read the chip and check that your information matches up with what the government has on file.

If everything checks out, the gate will open and you can go on through. This saves you and your parents lots of time compared to waiting in a long line for a human passport checker.

So, to sum it up: epassport gates are big machines that read special passports with chips inside them, and they help you get through passport check faster at the airport. Pretty cool, right?
