Early American publishers and printers

Early American publishers and printers were people who worked before the American Revolution to publish books and other printed materials, like newspapers! They would put words and pictures on paper, as well as bind the paper into books. They would then offer to sell the printed materials, or "publish" them, to make money. These people were important in the early United States because they spread ideas and shared news with people all over the country.
