Earthscope

Earthscope is a scientific project funded by the US government. It uses big machines called seismometers, GPS receivers, and other instruments that measure movement in the Earth. The goal of the project is to learn more about the size, structure, and movement of the Earth. By understanding the Earth better, scientists can learn more about things like natural disasters, earthquakes, and volcanoes and help people stay safe.
