ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ecogovernmentality

Ecogovernmentality is a big word that means how governments work to protect the environment. It's kind of like a teacher telling the class to clean up their mess and take care of their classroom. But instead of a classroom, it's the whole planet!

Governments make rules and laws to make sure people don't harm the environment too much. These rules help protect plants, animals, and clean water so that the Earth can stay healthy.

One way governments can do this is by encouraging people to recycle and use less energy. They might also set up programs to help farmers use pesticides that are safer for the environment.

So ecogovernmentality means that the government is working to make sure we take good care of the Earth so it can stay healthy for a long time.
