Economics is all about how people, businesses and countries manage their money. Economics looks at what people, businesses and countries need and how to get it, who makes money and how it is used. People might need food, energy or a place to live and businesses may need workers and materials to make goods. Countries might need roads, schools and hospitals. So, economics looks at how people, businesses and countries use their money to get what they need.
