Eigenvector

An eigenvector is like a way of showing the direction in which something is moving or changing. Imagine you have a toy car on the ground. You give the toy car a push and it starts moving across the ground. The eigenvector of that car is like the line that connects where you pushed it from, to where it is now. It is a way of showing the direction and how far the car has gone.
