Election promise

An election promise is when a politician running for office says they will do something if they win the election. It's like when your parent promises to take you to a toy store if you behave well.
For example, a politician might promise to build more playgrounds or give more pocket money to kids if they get elected.
But just like your parent might forget their promise, politicians may not always keep their election promises because they face challenges and limitations or can change their minds.
