An electoral system is how a country decides which person should become the president or leader. It is like a big game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Every person who wants to be the leader will give their name to the people who play the game. Then, everyone who wants to play the game will vote on which name they like best - this name will be the winner and will become the leader. It's like deciding who should be the boss - the one who gets the most votes will be the boss!
