ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Electrical conduction

Electrical conduction is when electricity can pass through a material. When something is a good conductor of electricity, it means the electricity (sometimes called current) can pass through it really easily. Imagine a river that runs really fast - the electricity is like the water, and the material is like the riverbed. The easier it is for the water to flow, the better a conductor it is. Some materials are really good conductors, like copper wire, while others are really bad conductors, like rubber.
