Electronic publishing means that instead of having to publish a book in physical form, like a hardcover book with paper pages, authors and readers can now publish and read books digitally, like on the internet or an e-reader. You can save space because you don't need to store physical copies and you can access a book from anywhere in the world. It is also cheaper to publish e-books than physical books because you don't have to print and ship them.
