Elephant's toothpaste

Elephant's toothpaste is a fun science experiment where we mix some things together to make a big, foamy explosion that looks like toothpaste for a really big elephant!

To make it, we need a few things: hydrogen peroxide (which is a liquid that helps clean cuts), yeast (which helps make bread rise), dish soap (which helps things get foamy), and food coloring (which makes the foam look pretty colors).

First, we mix the hydrogen peroxide and dish soap together in a container. Then, we add some food coloring if we want the foam to be a certain color. After that, we mix in some yeast.

The yeast starts to react with the hydrogen peroxide and it makes a lot of gas. This gas needs to escape, and it does so by making the foam shoot out of the container!

It's important to keep safe when doing this experiment, so it's best to have an adult help you. You should also do it outside, or in a large, open area, and wear safety goggles to protect your eyes.

So that's what elephant's toothpaste is! A fun and exciting experiment that teaches us about chemical reactions and makes a big, foamy mess.
