Ellipse

An ellipse is like an oval, but it's a bit more complicated than that. An oval is a shape with no sides and two curved ends that looks sort of like an egg. An ellipse is even more curved than an egg. It's a shape that is curved on both sides like an oval, but it's also curved top to bottom. That means it looks like a circle that has been squished either horizontally or vertically.
