Ellipsis

An ellipsis is like a pause in a sentence. It is when you do not finish the sentence, but there is still more that you could say. It looks like three dots (...) in a row. It can be used to indicate that someone has taken a pause while they are speaking, or it can be used to show that something has been left out of the sentence or that something has been left for the reader to think about. An ellipsis can also be used to show that a sentence is unfinished.
