Embodied cognitive science

Embodied cognitive science is the study of how our physical make-up affects our thinking, feeling and doing. It looks at how our bodies, senses and environments are connected to our mental processes. For example, one way our bodies can influence our thinking is by being able to sense certain things in our environment like temperature, color or movement. We can use this information to help us better understand and interact with the world around us. Being able to feel things can also help us think about problems and make decisions. Research also suggests our physical movements can help us think better, so if you need to work on a difficult problem you might try standing up and taking a walk.
