Cognitive neuroscience

Cognitive neuroscience is the study of how our brains and minds work. The brain is like a computer – it takes in information, stores it, and then uses it. Cognitive neuroscience tries to figure out how our brains take in, store, and use information. Scientists do this by looking at the different parts of the brain and how they work together. They might use experiments, or tools like brain scans, to see which areas light up when we do different tasks. Understanding how our brains decide, think, and remember things helps us understand how people learn and act.
