ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Embodied cognition

Embodied cognition is a type of thinking where you use your body to understand things. It means, when you learn something, you use your body to help you understand it better. For example, when you are playing a game, you might use your arms to shoot an arrow or wiggle around to make your character on the screen move. Doing physical movements like these can help you remember things better.
