Emergency medical dispatcher

An emergency medical dispatcher is someone who answers a special phone number (like 911) when someone calls and they need medical help right away (like if someone is hurt or sick and needs an ambulance). The dispatcher asks a lot of questions to find out what is wrong and where the person is located. Then, they send the right medical team (like an ambulance or helicopter) to help as quickly as possible. The emergency medical dispatcher has to stay calm and think fast, like a superhero, in order to help people who are in trouble.
