ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Emerging adulthood and early adulthood

Emerging adulthood is a period of life when people are growing up and figuring things out for themselves, usually between the ages of 18 and 25. It's a time when you're no longer a kid but not quite an adult yet. You're still figuring out what you want to do with your life and trying new things to see what works for you.

Early adulthood, on the other hand, is more focused on settling down and building a stable life for yourself. This usually happens around age 25 or so but can vary depending on the person. During early adulthood, you're finishing up your education or starting your career, possibly starting a family, and building long-term relationships with others.

Both emerging adulthood and early adulthood are important stages of life, but they have different focuses and challenges. Emerging adulthood is all about exploration and experimentation, while early adulthood is about making important life decisions and putting down roots for the future.
