Emily's Law

The worker accidentally used the wrong type of medicine that was meant for another person, and Emily got very sick and sadly passed away.
After the incident, Emily’s parents and other people were very upset and wanted to make sure that something like this does not happen to anyone else. So they worked with lawmakers to make a new law called Emily’s Law. This law requires hospitals and health care workers to take extra steps to make sure they are being safe with medicine and other things that can help people stay healthy.
