ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Empyrean

Do you know what the sky is? It's the big blue thing up above us that we see during the daytime. Well, sometimes when we look up at the sky at night, we see a lot of stars shining bright. And sometimes we can even see a band of light that crosses the sky called the Milky Way. That's where the empyrean comes in.

The empyrean is like a special part of the sky that is way, way up high. It's where some people believe that God and the angels live. They think it's a very magical and beautiful place where everything is perfect.

But, the empyrean isn't just a place for religious beliefs. In science, empyrean refers to the outermost sphere of the universe, where the stars and galaxies are located. It's the part of the sky that we cannot see with our naked eyes because it's too far away.

So, to sum it up, the empyrean is a fancy word for the highest and farthest part of the sky that can be seen and imagined as a perfect place by some people, while in science, it represents the outermost part of the universe where stars and galaxies are located.
