ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Energy resilience

Energy resilience is when a community or place is able to use energy in a way that makes it easier to keep using energy even during a challenging time. For example, if there is a natural disaster like an earthquake or hurricane, a community that is energy resilient might have things in place that make it easier to keep using energy. Things like having backup power generators, better insulation, and even local renewable energy sources. This way, when something like a natural disaster happens, it won't be so hard to keep using energy.
