ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Environmental management

Environmental management is what people do to help look after the environment. It's like taking care of the things around us, like air, water, plants, and animals. People often think of environmental management as taking care of the things we can see, but it also includes things that we can't see too, like chemicals and gases in the air, or bacteria and viruses that might be in the water. Environmental managers do things like making sure factories and businesses don't release too much pollution into the air, or that the water we drink and swim in is clean. By taking good care of our environment, it will stay healthy for us and for all the things that live in it.
