Environmental satellite

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a picture of the earth from space? It looks pretty amazing, right? Well, scientists have built special things called environmental satellites that orbit around the earth and take pictures of the planet.

These satellites help us to learn more about the environment and the earth's climate. They can tell us things like how much ice is melting at the poles or how much carbon dioxide is in the air.

The satellites also have special instruments that can measure the temperature of the earth and the oceans, and even track weather patterns like hurricanes and tornadoes.

All this information helps scientists to understand how our planet is changing, and how we can do things to help protect it. So, in a way, environmental satellites are like little superheroes! They help us to take better care of our home, planet Earth.
