Enzymes

Enzymes are like helpers in your body that do jobs to make things work better. Imagine you are making a cake, but you needed someone to mix the ingredients for you because you couldn't do it yourself. That's what enzymes do. They help mix up things in your body so that everything works the way it's supposed to.

Think about food going into your body. Your stomach has a lot of different chemicals in it that can break down your food into smaller pieces. These chemicals are called enzymes. They are like scissors that cut up the food so that your body can use it better.

Enzymes are important for your body to do lots of things, like build new cells, break down toxins, and even give you energy. Without enzymes, your body wouldn't work as well.

Every enzyme has a special job it can do. Just like a plumber might have a wrench for one job and a screwdriver for another, enzymes have tools or shapes that help them do their jobs. When the enzyme finds the thing it needs to work on, it attaches to it like a puzzle piece fitting together. Then it can do its job and make your body work better.

Enzymes are very important in your body, and scientists spend a lot of time learning about them so they can help keep people healthy. Just remember that enzymes are the little helpers in your body, making sure everything stays in working order.
