ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Epistemological nihilism

Epistemological nihilism is a belief that nothing can be known for sure. This means that you don't believe that you can learn the truth about things. Instead, you think that everyone has to figure out their own beliefs and decisions, and no one else's ideas can be seen as "true." It's like when you play a game and you have to make decisions that are best for you, even if other people don't agree with your decisions. You could say that epistemological nihilism is like that game - you decide for yourself what you think is true or false, without relying on what other people say.
