Equity feminism

Okay, so there are two types of feminism: equity feminism and gender feminism. Equity feminism is all about making sure that boys and girls, men and women have the same opportunities in life. That means they should be treated equally and have the chance to do whatever they want, whether it's being a doctor, a firefighter, or a stay-at-home parent.

For example, if you and your brother both want to play soccer, you should both have the chance to join the same team, practice together, and get the same amount of playing time. It doesn't matter if you're a girl and he's a boy. Equity feminism wants to make sure that everyone has the same chance to play the sport they love and be good at it.

Equity feminism doesn't focus on things like men being better than women or women being better than men. It just wants everyone to have the same opportunities to learn, grow and succeed. So remember, equity feminism is all about making sure everyone has a fair chance in life!
