Era

Era is the amount of time that something has happened, like how long something has been around. For example, people usually talk about different historical eras like the Medieval Era, which means the time period between the 5th and 15th centuries when knights and castles were popular. We also talk about eras when we talk about different styles of art, music, fashion, and technology. For example, we might say that the 1950s were an era of rock 'n roll music and poodle skirts.
