Error threshold (evolution)

Error threshold (evolution) is the point when a species can no longer adapt to the changing environment, and is therefore unable to survive. Think of it like a game of Jenga - when each block is removed, the structure is still standing. But eventually, the structure gets too weak and can no longer survive the slightest change. That's when the error threshold has been reached and the species will become extinct.
