Ethnic enclave

Okay kiddo, so an ethnic enclave is basically when a group of people from the same country or culture all live together in the same area. They might speak the same language, eat the same food, and have similar customs and beliefs.

It's kind of like creating a little piece of their home country in a new place. This can happen when people move to a new country and want to be around others who share their culture and language.

Sometimes these enclaves form naturally, and sometimes they are intentional. For example, in some cities there might be a "Chinatown" where a lot of Chinese people live and have their own businesses.

Being part of an ethnic enclave can help people feel more connected to their culture and community, but it can also make it harder for them to integrate or interact with people from other backgrounds.
