Ghetto

Ghetto is a way of referring to places or neighborhoods where a lot of people who are poor and who are from different ethnic or racial backgrounds live together. A lot of times, these areas can have a lot of crime and people may be struggling to get by. It's a way of describing places that can be pretty tough to grow up in.
