Bantustan

Bantustans were a set of countries created by the South African government during the time of Apartheid. They were designed to separate the different races, with white people living in one area and black and other non-white people living in another area. The bantustans were given limited autonomy and were mostly used as an official way of keeping white people in control of South Africa and keeping non-white people in poverty, with no real say or power.
