Ethnoarchaeology

Imagine you're playing with your toys in your house. Now imagine someone else playing with their toys in their house. Both of you might use different toys or play with them in different ways. Just like that, people from different parts of the world use different things and do things differently. Ethnoarchaeology is when scientists study how people from different cultures use stuff in their daily lives. They do this by watching and talking to them. This helps them understand how ancient people might have used similar objects in the past. For example, if they see people using a certain type of knife to scrape animal hides for clothing, they can guess that people from the past might have used the same type of knife for the same purpose. Ethnoarchaeology helps us learn more about ancient cultures and how they lived.
