Ethnolinguistics

Ethnolinguistics is the study of how language and culture are related. It looks at how language influences and is affected by the culture that it is a part of. In other words, it looks at how language and culture get along with each other. For example, different cultures may have different words for the same thing or may use the same words for two different things. Ethnolinguistics also looks at how languages can influence each other and how languages are shared in different cultures.
