Ecolinguistics

Ecolinguistics is a way of studying how language affects the environment. It looks at the connections between how people use language, and how that affects the environment. For example, it looks at how using certain words can lead to people acting in certain ways, like using less water or picking up litter. It's a way of looking at how language can help us be kinder to the environment and take better care of it.
