Ethnomusicology

Ethnomusicology is the study of music and how it's connected to people, cultures, and societies around the world. It’s a type of research that looks at music in different cultures, and how it has influenced other cultures and topics like philosophy, art, and history. People who study ethnomusicology look at how music is made, what it’s used for, and how it’s affected by the people and the culture around it. Ethnomusicologists also study how music has changed over time in different cultures, and how it’s different from one culture to another.
