Musicology

Musicology is the study of music. It looks at how music is made and why people make music. Musicologists study the history and development of music, the different kinds of music people listen to, and how music is made. Musicologists also study the way music affects people's lives and how music can be used to create certain feelings or emotions in people. Musicologists use their knowledge to make new music, teach music, and to understand the cultural significance of music.
