European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer

The European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) is an organisation that's made up of doctors and scientific researchers from all over Europe, who work together to try and understand ways to better treat cancer. Their research focuses on discovering new medicines, treatments and technologies that can help people who have cancer. This work helps doctors across Europe to provide the best possible treatments for their patients. The EORTC also helps to support people with cancer by raising much needed money for cancer research, helping to make treatments more available, and providing education and training for medical professionals.
