European diasporas

Okay, so you know how some people move away from their home country to live somewhere else? Well, a long time ago, many people from different European countries left their homes and went to live in other parts of the world. This is called a diaspora.

For example, many people from Italy moved to America a long time ago to find work and build a new life. And, lots of people from Ireland moved to other parts of the world too.

When these people moved away, they brought their culture and traditions with them. They also kept in touch with people back home, and sometimes even formed new communities in their new countries.

This is why you might see Italian, Irish, or other European influences in different parts of the world today. People from Europe have made an impact all over the place!
