Evidence-based dentistry

Evidence-based dentistry is a way of making sure that dentists use the best available scientific evidence to make decisions about how to care for a person’s teeth and gums. Evidence-based dentistry means that dentists don’t just do what they’ve always done or what they think is the best way to treat teeth, they use research to help them decide what is the best way. This means that dentists look at studies and tests done by other dentists and scientists to help them decide what methods are most likely to benefit their patients.
